Sexual Harassment Stories and Experiences
Announcing our new Speak Up! Stories and Experiences site.

Many of our visitors have found it helpful to read about other's experiences.  To this end,
many people have shared their stories, making Stories and Experiences one of the
most visited areas of the SHS site.  

The stories that have been shared include true experiences of sexual harassment in
the workplace by coworkers, supervisors, and employers, sexual harassment in
education and school by students, teachers, and professors, and sexual harassment
in other settings such as doctors offices, and street harassment.  

But at it stood, navigation was very limited.  We could only group each story under a
single category.  If you wanted to find a story that focused on a specific kind of content,
you  had to sift through all them.

The new site enables visitors to leave comments, and will also make updates easier
for those who have published their stories.  Even better, the new navigation allows us
to categorize each story in multiple ways, and also has a search feature.  You can read
through all the story pages consecutively, or use the navigation categories or search to
find specific types of story content.  The new site also allows us to easily feature
stories, as each has it's own page.
